About Kevin

Raised by first-generation Canadians—the son of a retired railroader and homemaker—we traveled the great country of Canada as we moved from city to city with Dad’s promotions.

Deciding to follow Jesus at the age of five at my beautiful mom’s direction, I chose to get baptized at the age of 13 in Richmond, BC.

I graduated high school and traveled west to Caronport, Saskatchewan, for Bible College. I continued to attend the University of Toronto for three years in a business-focused program. I was afforded all the opportunities of a middle-class family and then ventured out on my own.

Jesus was not my focus, and I lived for myself for several years, 33 to be exact. All those years, doing my own thing and going my own way, He never left me. He was right there when I came back with outstretched arms.

Wow! Powerful story! To think someone could go through all this and come out the other side intact. I found it hard to put down!

Exceptional book! I could not put it down. Usually takes me a month to read a book ... I READ IT IN 3 DAYS. I loved the stories and the beautiful testimony of God saving Kevin and changing his heart. Absolutely terrific read. Highly recommend; especially if you have struggled with gambling. Thank you to the author for sharing your story.
